The story

A Channel-Island temperament: counting the waves, alone, at the edge of land.

I write coastal ambient on the electric piano. Mostly it's about the sea and Guernsey — ordinary things, made a little more visible.

There are a handful of records — “Friends of the Sun”, “Jerbourg”, “London Nights”, “Song of the Bird” — and they belong together.

FAQ

Vinyl / physical?
Nothing pressed at the moment. If that changes it'll be announced here first.
Why is it all so… slow?
Because coastal ambient isn't trying to win the room. It's Guernsey, mostly — made to sit underneath a moment rather than interrupt it.
Where was this recorded?
In small rooms, close-mic'd. The room is part of the sound; that's deliberate.
